Default an inconvenient truth

i just put this movie on, and i am 2 minutes into it. Why do I see Al Gore's face? Why is it nessecary for a documentry to have a main character or hero except because he is a complete egoist? The discory shows on tigers dont have some douchebag on showing off and standing infront of the camera.

Plus, he has an accent that makes me want to kill myself.

Shutting it off now, because I wanted to see a movie on global warming, not a movie about al gore.

BTW, I didnt know Al Gore is a scientist....

A whole 2 minutes?! your opinion is really worth sharing, thank you for enlightening us. I appreciate that your aversion to pure egoism, and I am not at this moment laughing at how stupid you are for making such an egotistical post including it.

Stop being such a tool.

1) His presence in the movie adds a huge personal element, because you get to see his efforts fighting for the environment.

2) It gets into his personal life and family history, which i found to be very interesting and really added to the movie

3) By having him in the movie it distracts us from the fact its a 1.5 hour powerpoint presentation.

4) Helps publicize the movie and get the message out. If there was an anonymous narrator, you might not even have picked up the movie.

5) He's not a scientist, he's a presenter.

Also, if he showed half the charisma he shows in this movie during his presidential campaign, he would be in the white house right now.
