Re: EPassporte is a JOKE
[ QUOTE ]
Does anyone know who owns epassporte? [/ QUOTE ] The CEO is Christopher Mallick. 09-17-01 Article in Forbes Magazine, he is questioned about child porn. He later becomes involed with ASACP (Association of Sites Advocation Child Protection). I think that is to save face from previous actions. Envolved in lawsuit for Antitrust violations and fraud with Mastercard. U.S. 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, August Term, 1999 (Argued: May 15, 2000 Decided: May 08, 2001) Docket No. 99-9042 He was sued for securities fraud and negligent misrepresentation. His company lied about his past to make an investment look better to a potential investor. The investment went south from poor managment shortly after the investor came onboard. UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE SECOND CIRCUIT August Term 2000 Argued: March 19, 2001 Decided: July 19, 2001 Docket No. 00-7803 More of the same. He was fired as CEO from a company called Paycom. The are one of the leading online credit card processing companies. He is let go for apparent poor managment and mishandling company assets, something to do with a LearJet and lots of money. Mallick sues city of Los Angeles for harrasment while operating a dance club without the proper permit for dancing. He claimed racial harassment because his clientel were primarily african-american. That club eventually closed due to poor management. Mr. Mallick has been heavily involved in the online porn industry for a very long time. He has been a keynote speaker at several events for porn webmasters to learn how to better profit from their trade. His primary focus is on how to avoid Visa chargebacks. |

Re: EPassporte is a JOKE
Some more details about the CEO of epassporte, revealed in one of the many lawsuits against him:
Specifically, the Modified Report stated that: (1) no bankruptcy filings were found for Mallick, while the Original Bishops Report had described in some detail his involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy arising out of personal guarantees on business debts; (2) no pending civil suits were found for any individual subjects being investigated, but the Original Report had identified three civil suits filed against Mallick; and, omitted mention: (3) of a 1993 suit brought against Mallick by a gemstone business, in which he had been a joint venturer, where plaintiff sought the repayment of $250,000 borrowed from the business; (4) of three tax liens against Mallick personally, including one in the sum of $30,475, as well as a $3,233 tax lien against SAM Group's predecessor, which derived from $78,000 of unpaid federal taxes in the 1980s and $400,000 in the 1990s; and (5) of (a) several lawsuits that had been decided against Mallick, (b) his delinquent credit accounts, and (c) a critical comment made about him by a third party. |

Re: EPassporte is a JOKE
[ QUOTE ]
I was looking at epassporte as an alternative to Neteller. I sent them an email asking 3 questions about Canadian accounts. Three or four days later I had not received a reply. I sent the email again but after about 48 hrs still no response. That is my only experience but its kind of scary. I would not be happy if I had money in an account there and it took this long to resolve a problem. Does anyone know who owns epassporte? Where are they operating from? Guy. [/ QUOTE ] Haha I called to ask a simple question about my withdrawl options as a Canadian and after being on hold for 10 minutes, they guy says "hold on..." and then just hangs up on me. |

And like I said originally, epassporte has run it's business the same even before "online gambling was pushed underground" epassporte sucked. So your choice is simple. Use an e-wallet that has sucked, does suck, and will continue to suck, or find different methods to deposit/withdrawl. [/ QUOTE ] LMFAO, I remember you saying ePassporte sucked and I have yet to get an account with them because of that. |

Re: EPassporte is a JOKE
Can someone elaborate more about the 5k thing? What exactly do you need to give them?

Re: EPassporte is a JOKE
I've avoided using ePassporte because of their daily low limits and fees. This 5K thing just makes me more convinced to never use them.

[/ QUOTE ] ID Copy of most recent bank statement Picture of front/back of credit card used to load account Pretty intrusive, but I went through with it. I just took pictures of the required stuff and emailed it in and it didn't take that long (outside of this strange little exchange). Also, my account was not frozen during this process, but maybe that's just because I didn't quite have $5,000 in Epassporte yet. |

Re: EPassporte is a JOKE
It's not just a matter of what you have to give them, it's a matter of how many times you have to give it to them... They locked my account a little over a year ago. It took me several exchanges and about a month to get my account unlocked. I had been warned by a friend who had personal knowledge of the CEO from the porn business. I should've listened I guess. But then, all ended well, it just took a while. I never let my account get back over 1k after that. |
