talking [censored] to someones face vs. behind their back
So a good friend is very upset becaues another good friend made a comment about his girlfriend behind his back. The friend who is upset has inslulted the other guys girlfriend to her face.
In my opinion, talking behind someones back is usually far superior to talking [censored] about them to their face. If its something they did, or something you think they should do (like apologize), then tellling them to their face is better. For comments about personality/looks, behind the back is better.
