dose any one know where i can find some articles about preflop raising , starting hands ,reads , all bigstack Thank you [/ QUOTE ] A good NL text is "No Limit Hold' Em" Theory and Practice by Skylansky and Miller. I bought it about a year ago and won a couple thousand playing at the B&M by my house. Since then I've donked it off in Vegas and just taking miserable beats in the 2/5 games, but in all seriousness the book covers everything from the reasons to raise, chip stacks, playing big hands, manipulating the pot size, bluffing, swapping mistakes, ect ect. Also you should read the bible.... Theory of Poker I really think you can't buy a book on reads, experience is the best teacher. Also in the back of NLHE there is a section on Concepts and Weapons. READ IT READ IT READ IT and READ IT!!! And then for good measure there is the Skylansky-Chubukov hand rankings. It's good for all in situations and such but also in terms of intrinsic value. |
