i love atlantic city i can find lots of stud there still $1-5 with no ante, unless its changed a lot in 2 yrs, but im assuming they got it.

The Taj Mahal now has a 50 cent ante on the 1-5 game stud game, not sure about Borgata. The Trop does not have an ante.

[/ QUOTE ]With 50 cent pieces or quarters? That has to be messy.

I was there with you that night, they would only spread a 10-20 game.

I forgot you were one of us degens that evening. Is my memory bonkers, or am I correct - they spread HORSE for us and the game was canceled at the last minute because of the 10/20 limit minimum requirement and not enough players wanted to play at that limit?

Correct, we originally asked for $5-$10 HORSE, however the Borgata cannot spread $5-$10 hold em (per the floor) so we had to play straight $10-$20. Several players objected to the $10-$20 limit because they did not feel comfortable withthe stakes so the game did not go.

Mike and TT,

I know I am bumping an oldish thread, but.......

I'll be in AC sunday through wednesday am. I was hoping to try to get a 4-8 to 5-10 HOSE or HORSE going. It looks like the Borg is a no-go for this game (that sucks because I'm staying there), but is it possible to get this game spread somewhere's else? Maybe the Taj or the Trop?

Are you guys interested in trying to get it going? I will be there with a buddy (my wife and his wife will be hanging out so that will free us up to play more) so there are at least 2 players in.

Let me know as soon as you can, or if anyone else knows the answer please chime in. I'm leaving in about 6 hours (and not one damn minute later!).

Joe

I thought that was the case, but I wasn't sure.

Guess that cell number won't work anymore, or did you keep the same one like JoeTall?

I am about to change mine; its just tough doing business out here with a Boston area code. But so so many people have this number that I come in contact with every month or two because of poker that I have yet to change it.

Hope all is well Joe,
JT

Its older than that. You gave it to me the first time you had that big bash at one of the NYC poker clubs. I got to go to Sesame Place instead of playing cards.
We'll eventually meet up....I think in Vegas, right?
