Default NL50 - Trips on the turn, pot control?

NL50. Villain is unknown. Effective stacks are $50.

Hero is dealt Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG+1.

Pre-Flop:
UTG limps $.50, Hero raises to $2.50, SB calls $2.25, UTG calls $2.00

Flop ($7.50):
J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
SB bets $2, UTG folds, Hero raises to $10, SB calls

Turn ($27):
J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB bets $3, Hero?

Hero has ~$38 behind. Is this a good spot to exercise pot control, or should I be trying to get all the money in?

910s would make sense in this position, but so would AJs (or KJ, JT). Obviously 22 or 88 should be considered as well. I'm probably calling this turn bet (even though it looks really weak) and calling a reasonably sized river bet (if he pots it I think we're toast).
