Default disappointed with this forum

The quality of responses to posts on this forum has greatly deteriorated over past several months IMHO. I posted a very tough hand with appropriate context and it is genuinely the type of hand that distinguishes great players from merely good ones and I only got one very poor response. Someone posts on a preflop all-in decision and gets 20 responses! I guess that's b/c it's an easier hand to play and posters on this forum aren't interested in delving into tough spots that will define great players and can sway their tourneys. SAD.

You can be disappointed all you want...but I think most of us would agree with Bond's response and maybe if you had provided further streets, some reads, etc., you'd actually have gotten some responses. You posted a pretty standard flop decision, you raise TT, got a call, flop was 3 undercards, 9-high, pretty standard spot to make a flop bet there.

Well, I agree with your assessment that posts with trivially easy decisions get tons of responses. That's b/c more people know the answer.

I personally don't think the quality of responses has deteriorated. Many excellent posters still post and respond here on a regular basis. I'd name them but honestly, I'd be afraid that I would forget someone accidently.

If you don't like the responses you are getting try a few things: 1) Respond to other people's posts. You'll learn something yourself and people will be more apt to respond to your posts. 2) You can try to bump it once for more respones, but if no one respond at that point is means either that a) No one cares, b) your question has already been answered, or c) no one knows. None of which you can really argue with.

Lastly, you can always go to pocket fives.

The quality of posts on this forum has greatly deteriorated over past several months IMHO. I posted a very trivial hand completely lacking information about the turn and river, which are what I would like help with and it is genuinely the type of hand that can be played with your eyes closed and I only got one highly accurate response followed by lots of flaming because I posted a second thread to draw more attention to myself.

LOL.

Sherman, I would never forget you.

This feels about right that we needed another "MTTf sucks" thread. We get these every so often, and you get flamed and then we prove just how good the forum really is and how you need to quit getting your damn feelings hurt when no one responds because it was for many players, a very easy hand to play. This comes with time and effort in your game and in the forum.

I think if you would read and follow the FAQ advice, you would get more replys. Your original post did not use the hand converter, and subsequently, much information was missing. You need to put alot of information into the post in a concise manner so the experienced players here can reply without having to go back to you to ask for more information. They don't have the time for that, so naturally, the posts with the least information are going to get the fewest responses. Also, I think it shows a lack of respect when you don't follow the advice that the mods put out for your benefit, and thats going to limit your responses as well.

Yikes, I hope no-one thinks that about me.
I post in short spurts sometimes not coming back for several months-and I don't get much action on my posts either :-/
