JJ overpair facing flop raise
At work...hand is from memory, sorry:
Villain is mostly unknown, but he's been quiet so far. First impression is TAG. If villain is paying attention, he probably has a similar read for me. NL50 w/ $50 effective stacks Villain opens on the button for $1.50. I 3-bet JJ to $5 in SB, and he calls. Flop ($10) comes 2-8-9 rainbow. I bet $7. Villain raises to $20. I...? I've got $38 behind, the pot is currently $37 and it's $13 for me to call. What's my action here? |

Re: JJ overpair facing flop raise
Fold this given that he's been quiet and you don't have much history with him

Fold. You only beat TT. [/ QUOTE ] Are we assuming that villain might not do this with AK? (maybe a good assumption) Greg |
