web hosting
can someone help me out here.....im looking for some free web hosting. is there any sites out there that do not clobber the top of your page with ads? any that maybe just put them on the bottom of the page? I plan on registering a dot com name here in a month or so but i need to get this site hosted for free for the time being its for a school project and the bombarding of ads has got my entire layout completly screwed up due to the addition of inline frames on the page. can anyone point me in a new direction?

Re: web hosting
i havent looked into free hosting in forever. But you can get dirt cheap hosting all over the place. i think the cheapest package on godaddy is like ~$3 a month.

Re: web hosting
Ya, $3-10/month for name brand, very dependable hosting is not unheard of. On the other hand, very dependable (non-ad, non-crappy) free web hosting is unheard of.lol

Re: web hosting
You get what you pay for... You can get 200GB space and 2000GB bandwidth/month for like $10/month. I recommend hostgator.

Re: web hosting
I would strongly strongly recommend webhost4life.com
It's 1GB of data and unlimited bandwidth for $5/month with full database access, scripting and all that jazz. They get there wicked low pricing from generally not advertising and spreading by word of mouth... Whenever I've had to set up something custom (such as a php module once) there customer support was able to do it for me... I've been using them for the past 2 years for my two sites(erbbysam.com,icanimate.com) and have never had a bad experience with them. |
