Default I have a full house but..., $100 NL

Only played a few rounds with villain. Wasn't really sure what to do, it was just kind of sick bc this is exactly what he would probably do with a three given the action to this point.

Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
3 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Button: $140.15
SB: $46.65
Hero: $100.75

Pre-flop: (3 players) Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Button folds, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($2, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.25, SB raises to $2.5, Hero calls.

Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($7, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($7, 2 players)
SB is all-in $43.15, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: $43.15 returned to SB.

Results:
Final pot: $7

This is fine. You're going to see AA/KK/3x here a lot.

Truth. Still, if we throw this hand away every time, we are setting ourself up to be pushed around...

yeah because he knows exactly the cards you have and it's a good idea to call for a split pot, AMIRITE? WHAT DO I WIN?

Anyways, why post the hand, it's not interesting and is a standard laydown.

I don't think small blind has AA/KK never. But as said, mostly is a 3 or J and is a pretty easy fold.

I just figure after 1600 posts you know what to do here. It's not an amazing spot where "ZOMG I FOLDED A BOAT". Anyways I'm done, good fold.

First of all I don't really understand the "call for a split" comment because he probably has a jack here just about never. I just wasn't sure how often this is a bluff or some idiot who thinks he's value stacking himself with a flush. This in addition to the fact that he is relatively short stacked makes this a little different than him pushing a full buy in on the river.

edit: also, about 99% of those 1600 posts are in the sttf so excuse me if I'm just trying to get a feel for what your standard ssnl player is capable of.

[/ QUOTE ] I totally agree but I was responding to a comment from a different poster when I said that and you took it out of context. The poster said you'll get pushed around and I was saying that calling hoping for a split was retarded and people can push me in that spot all day if they wanted to. Also because I will show up with a flush draw here alot to so me folding really doesn't mean they can push me around.
