Default Ram question

How do you know what size RAM your PC takes if you plan on removing the old one and putting it in yourself. I have limited hardware exp, but did install a new Internal Hard Drive a couple years ago.

Pick your model of PC and they'll tell you everything you need to know. If for some weird reason your PC isn't on the list, the speed and type of memory is lited on a label on the RAM. Well, on 80% of RAM it is.
