Default QQ

Live $50+10 single addon. Don't usually play so low these days, but was around. Buyin and addon are 5K chips each. I have 16K, 2nd position about 10K and 4th position about 20K. I don't like to give reads, as they may be influenced by results. Blinds 400/800/100. 2nd position limps, 4th position raises to 1800. I have QQ in CO. What do I do?

That's a small raise...a little suspicious.

Option 1: Call and see a flop
Option 2: Raise little
Option 3: Raise heavy

On option 1, if it is all undercard you either get his CB or you get stacked by a better hand...I doubt he has AJ and will go all-in on J high board, but possible (maybe the only hand he could go all-in that you beat). So this doesn't look like a good scenario.

Option 2 is decent so you will know if he has a good hand if he re-raises...do you think he can do that with less than QQ? Will you be able to read him as strong and fold if you re-raises to 3,200?

Option 3 is the best I think given your stack size...less than 20 BBs.

What is average stack? You must all be pretty low in chips?

This is in no way difficult. Reraise and call a push, I don't even see how it's reasonable to consider doing anything else.

You must re raise here, if you just call then the limper along with anyone else will call and do you really want to have Queens in a multi way pot?

I didn't post reads because I thought they might be influenced by the results and predjudice the discussion.

Raiser was older woman. She had limped KK UTG once. She also limped in early position once for 400, I limped behind 86s, there was another limper and a raise to 1200, which everyone called. The flop came 864, she bet 1000, I raised to 2500, others folded, and she called. The turn was a T, she checked, I bet 4000, she folded, and I showed. She said she had an overpair and knew I had 2-pair. She also open raised 3xBB once, got 3 callers and folded on the flop.

In this hand, limp for 800, raise to 1800, I reraised to 5800. Limper folds, raiser goes allin, I call. She shows AA.

I was confused by the action initially and asked if first player had raised. Dealer says no limp and raise. Raiser says "it is only 1800".

I was wondering if I missed a read, and if I should have called and played the hand with position against bad players. I realize I played it standard.
