lol @ the people who actually did the challenge. Gigabet only did it because he was on a freeroll, and the reason he stopped wasn't because of the structure change.

costanza pretty much summed it up - this challenge is a huge waste of time for anyone who has a bankroll.

what? he couldnt have known the structure would change and it wasnt a freeroll if he didnt win.

You are only going to bust if you drop 15 in a row at the beginning. Assuming you're a winning sng player, you're winnings are going to give you a cushion if you hit a dry spell later in the process.

Not exactly. If you play 100 6.50s at 10% ROI, you have to move up to the 16s with a bankroll of $162.50. Now you only have to lose 10 in a row to bust out.

Since I cashed out my entire roll in November to cover living expenses/move to CA, and recently found $78 randomly on FTP, so ill give it a shot for the hell of it. I guess that makes it 12 buy ins so we'll see what happens.

So I decided to give this thing a shot and see how long it would take me to show just how much I suck at turbos. Suprisingly enough, I actually managed to not only survive the first 100 ($6.50 turbos), but made a respectable showing at more than 19.6% ROI and 47% ITM and have turned the $97.50 into $225.10.

I actually would have been in much better shape but got coolered in my last set of 6 (AA v. A7, AA v. KK, QQ v. JJ . . . the usual crap).

I've got 14 buyins to work with at the next level. To get back to having 15 buyins for the third level, I need to get up to $405, which means I need to profit $180 over the 100 $16 turbos. So to keep pace I need an ROI of 11.25%.
