My GB just exploded

Last night my friend took a couple gravity bong hits and then it was my turn. I lit one, took it, everything was fine. I decided to have another but kinda overpacked it so air wasn't really getting through well and it was taking forever. When it was at about 60% lit I look down, see a flash, and am suddenly covered in bong water. Friend, who had a perfect view, claimed to see blue flame everywhere and from the looks of it expected me to be hurt afterwards. Apparently, lighterfluid was building up and because it was taking so long to light enough built up to explode as soon as I sparked the lighter again.

Anyone seen/heard of this before? I use a gravity bong a lot and this was a new experience. Luckily the only consequences were bong water everywhere and a wasted GB [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img].

Glad it happened once, hope it doesn't happen again.

2 years ago po po took my piece that was 6 + years old I know how you feel

However on the upsde you get to get a new piece, however if you are like me it takes a long time to find the one you <3... I still haven't found "lisa's" replacment and fear I never will she was very special..

I am sorry to hear about your loss as well. I dropped mine last week....but luckily, it survived!!! Whew!!!
