Re: Best Online Jobs For A Student
If you like to write, you can write for associatedcontent.com. They take pretty much anything unless it's totally retarded, and pay within like a week via Paypal (I've been paid since like January). You submit an article on something (400 words minimum, which is all of like 5 minutes or something of writing), they send you an offer for it 4-5 business days later, you can take the offer or not or whatever, and if you accept the offer they send payment via Paypal on the next Mon/Wed/Fri, whichever comes first. The offers differ on certain keyword density and things but long-term it's been roughly $0.01-$0.012/word, and I've written like 40 chess articles so take it for what it's worth.
I'm obviously not recommending this as a full-time thing, but figured I'd contribute. Then again, if you like to write and don't suck, you could do it as a full-time thing if you really wanted to. The hourly wouldn't be all that terrible I don't guess, depending on how much you stay on-task and how long you can go without a break.
