4/11:

Well basically I started out well today with the cardinals winning, then I ran into the NYM. Oliver Perez had probably the worst performance by a major league pitcher that I have ever seen. How does a team score 3 runs in one inning with only 1 hit? Obviously walk 4 batters and hit a batter all consecutively might i add. And Adam Eaton, wtf, he was striking batters out left and right. Thats not the Adam Eaton we all know. But whatever so I lost my big parlay and all other bets except for the cardinals game and the braves game straight wagers. I also bet 550 on the Pistons -5 but that pushed (up 7 with 3.4 seconds, the magic drove the length of the court for a meaningless lay up) so whatever, sorry for not posting that, but I had a busy day. I was due for a losing day, so I'm happy I only lost a small amount compared to my recent profits. Betting 3k and only losing 1k at the end of the day isn't that bad. Tomorrow will be better. I won't be so stupid as to bet on an unpredictable game such as the mets again. Obviously no matter how everything concerning the game looks it is still the mets we are dealing with.

4/12:

Tomorrow's gonna be a busy day, so I got my picks settled earlier this time (note I don't like any NBA games, although there is only two). Yesterday I shied away from betting a lot after seeing my earlier profits, so today were going bigger than ever. GOGOGOGOGO!!!

Wow, I really hate laying -150 on the Atlanta runline. I'm on Washington +1.5 and +165, and I'm also going against you with KC +118. I think I'm also on the Toronto RL. One of us is going to have a bad day [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

The Atlanta Pick is one of my locks, I am certain that Smoltz will pitch well, and Atlanta will continue to hit well. Bergmann is still unproven to me. I think he will pitch well, but not well enough to hold off the Braves for at least 3 or 4 runs. The Detroit vs. Toronto game I do not have much faith in, about 60% sure it will hit. Therefore I only have it in one little parlay. I didn't see too many good plays today, but the ones I did I almost always added the Atlanta and Baltimore games onto them to enhance the odds. Todays one of those degenerate busto or robusto days. GOGOGO Robusto!

A +114 dog hitting at 60%? I'd have far more than "not much faith."

Then again, it would appear as if I'm the only one in this forum who is losing in MLB this year.

I believe this is going to be a pitchers dual, and Moseley will outpitch Sowers imo. Sowers is no slouch believe me I know, but he did seem to have small control problems in his first game; notice the 1 hit 3.00 era stats.

*edit: thats the cleveland game, lol... one second...

Ok for the detroit game, maroth will pitch better imo. He will give up some runs, but not as many as toronto will give up. This game looks to be similar to his first game, where he pitched mediocre but still got the win due to detroits firepower. Any improvement on his part and detroit blows this one away. Playing in a dome, detroit will just lay it on ohka. Ohka gave up a lot of runs in his first game, although mst of them were due to home runs. This game could go either way i guess, but I think the favorables if you look at all the aspects in this game point towards detroit slightly. So since i'm getting more than even money on this i added it in a small lottery ticket parlay, haha...
