If you're asking the correct questions and getting the correct responses from the right people.... little to nothing.

What can you learn about most subjects that you can't learn from Google. Usually very little. The advantage of a good book is that it selects the most important information regarding a particular endeavor and you are less likely to have gaping holes in the information base.
You might see someting on 2+2 about how to play a particular hand when you have 10000 and the blinds are 1000-2000. The discussion would assume you know that you play very differently when your stack is a small multiple of the blinds. Harrington will tell you this explicitly and just what changes to make.

You can't (or at least shouldn't) read 2+2 in the tub.

Plus, there can be a fair amount of mis-information in a thread. My response to a question could be completely off-base vs. what a better player (or author) would say.

With a book, there's no me to gunk up the learning process. It's all King Yao all the time.

The ability to think about hands on your own and to be self-reliant with your knowledge and learning.

About nothing right now. All the NL books sucks hard.
HOH is the best but its for tournaments.
I would wait for new 2p2 book about NL due to authors involved it has good prospects of being the best one on the market.
