Re: It will come down to $.
CharlieDontSurf, I've read most of this thread and I have to say your logic is pretty stupid. That's all I have to say.

Re: Don Imus vs. Black America?
Reading CDS's posts in this thread will guarantee that you leave with less intelligence.

As long as we're in Short, Unsupported Statement Mode: I disagree with the two posts above me.

[ QUOTE ]
I don't follow them around with a microphone and besides Coulter they seem smart enough not to pull a Don Imus and just flat out make a overtly racist remark. [/ QUOTE ] Go listen to Coulter for a few minutes and read her columns. She may be controversial; indeed, deliberately inflammatory. But one thing she isn't is stupid. Nor is she racist. |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] we've come to the point where if you make fun of anyone it's X-ist. imo that's very sad. [/ QUOTE ] It depends on the language used. Imus came under fire here because he used words that are used nearly exclusively to insult blacks and women. [/ QUOTE ] Thank god he didn't say Hymietown or something like that. |

Re: Don Imus vs. Black America?
I just read a great article on this topic. It really put the whole controversy in perspective. What Imus said was insensitive, but this language is norm in the black community, and you rarely see much outrage from blacks when their own kind are saying it. Me thinks the blacks in this case are practicing selective morality!

[/ QUOTE ] i have done both...shes not that intelligent...not stupid but not all that smart. Very poor debater too...racist..who knows. Coulter is hard to pin down because it is so obvious that a large part of what she does is a pure act. |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Amulet, If you have some racists quotes from Hannity or O'Reily, please provide them. Otherwise, you shouldn't stereotype people...any people. [/ QUOTE ] i'm not going to attempt to provide any proof, but does anybody believe that hannity/o'riley/coulter/whoever else aren't racist? [/ QUOTE ] I absolutely believe that neither Hannity nor Coulter nor Malkin are racist. I don't like O'Reilly and don't watch him and so can't say. [/ QUOTE ] I absolutely believe that neither Bill Mahr nor Cindy Sheehan despise republicans. I don't like Al Franken and don't watch him and so can't say. oh and on a side note... is it just me or do u guys also think that all black people are drug dealing, watermelon eating, gorillas? Those [censored] should really go back to africa. I'm obviosly a biggot right? ...I mean look what I was just quoted saying. Defenitly a biggot...can't argue against it...its 100% fact. |
