After the $0.05/0.10 NLHE I am convinced that this therad is a joke and you are making fun of us but I will reply as it is not.

Dude, even if you keep 20% ROI playing 100 SNG of 3.40 will make you slightly above 50$ a day...
I don't know how much you are making driving a taxi but I am sure it won't be less than that and even so the amount of stress playing 100 SNGs is so high that will be paid in the long run.

Spacegravy played 17000 SNG in 1 year and made 40,000$ this is awesome but there are so many jobs outside that pay you so much better than that.

Just play for fun, move up in stakes and once you will be confy with 27 or 60 then you could really think about it.

this may have been asked, but how many tables do you play, and do you play continuous or in sets

[/ QUOTE ]I usually play 9 and I usually play for a couple hours and take a break.

[/ QUOTE ]When I was driving a taxi, I had to pay $460 a week for the taxi and about $200 for gas. I would usually gross $15 to $20 per hour. You can do the math and see that I had to work a long time just to pay overhead.

No matter how much I like a job, it always becomes a grind for me after a while. I love poker enough that it only becomes a grind when I don't make enough to live on.

Is this a serious string? I'm working to go pro myself but taking a drastically different approach. I have to have 18 months living expenses socked away on top of a $75K bankroll. I currently make well into 6 figures, have an 18month old and a spouse that does not work. My plan is to play 60% live and 40% online..My online stats are modest but have a strong ROI since I started playing sitgos seriously and have done well in MTTs..I'm still working at my game and am not ready to make the move yet..I dont fathom how someone wakes up 1 day with no previously established back-up and GOES PRO? It doesnt matter how low your living costs are..You need to better prepare yourself and have realistic goals.
