Button ($4.78) SB ($0.66) Hero ($3.56) UTG ($2.04) MP1 ($2.83) MP2 ($3.78) CO ($4.16) Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, CO calls $0.02, Button calls $0.02, SB completes, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.08</font>, CO calls $0.06, Button calls $0.06, SB calls $0.06. Flop: ($0.32) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font> SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $0.16</font>, CO calls $0.16, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $1</font>, SB calls $0.58 (All-In), ... Is it an error to flat call? A push seems to be too much cowboy style to me, but a Raise would also commit me to the pot... Whats your play? Would you bet more on PF or just call? |

Re: NL2: Set of Tens meets overbet on Flop
Flop bet is too small, bet pot.
Then shove when the action gets back to you. |

Re: NL2: Set of Tens meets overbet on Flop
also raise more preflop, you have limpers and you're out of position

Re: NL2: Set of Tens meets overbet on Flop
A push might seem cowboy style, but its a whole lot better than letting someone with 2 diamonds or 8-9 get a cheap look at the turn card.
There are lots of hands that your opponents could have that we are way ahead of. Push... |

Re: NL2: Set of Tens meets overbet on Flop
Raise more preflop, to about .10-.12
Bet about 2/3s pot on the flop, and if they still raise and call and all that, shove. If they have AA, reload. If they suck out...reload. Every raise commits you, so just put it in. |
