Is it a given that the guy in the bathroom asking for a stake was TJ?

[/ QUOTE ]

Given the accent, I asumed it was TJ instantly. I am surprised DN wouldn't stake TJ though. Phil has constantly done it and I believe that TJ has yielded a nice profit for him.

Sam Grizzle, I'm almost sure of it. The only deadbeat with a southern accent who was at the tournament.

That's an expert call. TJ does have a southern accent but isn't half the deadbeat

I'm pretty certain he was referring to Mike Laing who is a notorious railbird in Vegas/Reno. (DN's impersonations are pretty decent, and it sounded a lot more like Mike Laing than Sam Grizzle). Laing has been around for ages and knows all the older pros on the circuit.

Sam doesn't appear broke right now either (or without a backer).

Also, I'm pretty certain Sebok and Amanda are dating but not 100% sure.

Agreed but after phil gets his money I doubt he cares what TJ does with it.

Laing is really that much of a deadbeat? I thought overall he was a good guy and people didn't mind staking him. Grizzle on the other hand...
