Here is why people cringe whenever someone creates a serious sounding parlay thread.



With standard -110 lines, and 4-team parlays paying out at +1200 (this seemed to be the odds at a number of books, correct me if it's possible to get better) you are better off straight betting than doing a parlay unless you can pick 58% winners.

Results:

Won all bets except for the FLA vs. MILW Straight Wager (still not decided, but I'm calling it a loss as of now, game played out different than I expected), and the Chicago vs. New York Knicks straight wager.

Total Net Won on 4/10 (taking into account that I lost 1000 earlier from my first parlay): +$3,888.57

Total Net Won on 4/9: $3,666.60

Total Net Won to Date: $7,555.17

Account Balance: $9,555.17

Overall yesterday I bet three parlays and won two of them. Today I bet two parlays and 6 straight wagers. I won one of two parlays and 4 of 6 straight wagers.

(The DET game will be close, both are good pitchers so it will be a low scoring affair but I think DET will outhit BALT for a small margin victory. For the CHI vs. HOU game, Hill looks nice. Rodriguez could have a solid outing but he is not on the level Hill is playing at right now in the season in my opinion. CHI will get the rest of the job done. The rest are fairly straight forward picks)
