big pots are for big hands (200bb deep NL600)
The game has just went 3-handed a couple rounds ago. Hero has been sitting silently for those few rounds as well as for a bit before then.
28/20 (48% steal) raises to $18 on button. 39/16 calls in sb. Hero looks down at a monster and pops it to $80 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Based on my inactivity, button's steal % and the dead money, this seemed like an opportune time to make a profitable preflop bluff. Button folds. SB calls (wtf?) Flop ($178): 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB leads out for $110. Hero calls. Turn ($398): 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, Hero bets $320, SB raises to $640 $320 to call, hero has $685 total (covered). notes on SB are that he is somewhat tricky, although my examples only show small bluffs (like bets flop, checks turn, bluffs river). His turn c/r % is 6. No similar situations in my notes. Help me. The board didn't look like a healthy one to trap on. |

alot of people play a set this way but you gotta shove this, you have almost ANYONES range crushed with that turn
stick it in and be happy about it |

I beat overpairs and 65s. I just don't understand what he could be doing this with that I beat unless it's a very confusingly played KK,AA, or 65 that thinks it's ahead of my overpair. |

Anyone like a flop raise? [/ QUOTE ] Best way to represent an overpair, right? Although I may just as easily call AA as I did 96o here (to his flop bet) |

Re: big pots are for big hands (200bb deep NL600)
unless he has 65 here (and assuming no other 2 pair are feasible) your hand ~ AA. kinda looks like he can beat AA, i guess, but... i probably shove.
