gf: yeah but you didn't call me all day (bet)
me: you were at school all day, and you had no idea when you were going to be done, how could I know when to call you, doesn't it make sence if you just call me??? (raise)
gf: no, you should be thinking about me and just call + hope I pick up (re-raise)

Lately I've been sizing random people up I meet, as if they all played poker.


But the worst is saying phrases that you expect to be common knowledge at this point to people that obv don't play poker, such as.......

-You say a joke no one gets, and say, "leveled."
-Using the term "robusto" or "busto" in any context.
-Saying "holla" not realizing you are a white kid at a university that has a large black population.
-Telling someone you have a "sick read" on someone else.
-Trying to say "but you much did you lose" at any possible point in conversation where it makes even remote sense.

Basically any BBVism.
