Default Wireless Router Invalid IP

-Windows XP Home w/ SP2
-High Speed DSL Internet w/ Ethernet modem
*Before purchasing the wireless router I was using a wired DLink router with no problems*
-New DLink Wireless G Router

My first attempt at configuring the router was successful until I chose to enable a WPA-PSK encryption, which resulted in suddenly losing all connection.

Now, everytime I try to reinstall the router, I get an 'Invalid IP' error, along with a message saying I need to reset the router. After numerous time resetting the router, I get the same message.

Help appreciated.

Here's a useful link:

Are you doing a hard reset of the router or just a power cycle? There's a big difference between the two. You shouldn't get that error with a hard reset. It will be just like you took it out of the box.
