I'm thinking about adding a game to my 'repotoire'.

I've been mixing in some SNGs with my daily play a little bit but that's just not cutting it.

I'm either going to start playing a little bit of 6-max limit OR 6-max NL. What do you guys recommend? If I play NL, it will be a step down from the levels I play full. And I am very aware that my 12%VPIP won't cut it.

some players play around 16/12 6max, which prob isn't too far from what you are if you ignore the first 3positions

FTW.

Avtually, from a small sample of hands this year (345) at 50NL I'm running at 20/13. Even this is probably considered tight for 6max, no?

Also, sorry for jumping in on the harrassment at the tables.

I thought it was hilarious that that guy made such a big deal about you keeping your stack at 100. He obviously has no clue why we do this.

I was upping my stack also, of course.

pokerboy; I'm not an expert but I think 20/16 will get you doing well with not putting you into a lot of bad decisions up to 200NL or so...but I see numbers like 26/20 all the time around 6-max forums..Of course, I might be wrong

Thanks for the advice.

From what I have seen in the 50NL games I have played so far, it doesn't take much (maybe just a little common sense) to beat that level.

OTOH, maybe I will keep playing some SNGs too.

I think I'm getting bored of poker.

Take a week break man..you are a machine..

Also, you probably need to move up..Obviously this isn't advice I need to be giving lol, but I think once you can get a handle on 200NL it means you will be making better profits which means you won't feel like you have to play as constantly since you are still making a good amount(Playing 3/4 as much with nearly the same winrate makes a biiigg difference in time)

Just a thought!

June 16-23 I am OFF. Actually taking a trip to Washington DC to do some sight-seeing, shopping, swimming, and relaxing. I can't wait!

AFA moving up...I probably would have by now BUT...two bad streaks (-12BI) in the past 2 months has me in the middle of re-tooling my game.
