Too many players in the pot to bet. Check and see if you hit an A or K.

Re: PP $22s - AK firing against 3?
I'd bet 325. Mp2 looks like he called with anything so you probably have him beat unless he took a bad beat to get him down to 1220 so early and we want to see where UTG is at. He'd probably fold a missed hand and raise a monster. Even if he suspects you haven't connected it'd be hard for him to play at you out of position with someone left to act.

Generally only make a move for the pot unless AK is suited, but most of the time c/f.

Seems you will have a call for sure or even worst , a raise .
You can see a free card a hope for A or K. I would check. |

Re: PP $22s - AK firing against 3?
Hi Mondonman,
After the flop, I like a check since betting into this 750 pot is unlikely to win immediately in a lower stakes SNG with 3 players left to act, and if you do bet and do not win immediately, you are in a tough situation -- largely pot-committed with only an ace-high. I.e., say you bet only 400 and the BB smooth-calls -- then you each have around 1500 left in a 1500 pot. If he checks a turn blank, what then? Keep the decisions simple and take a free turn. I would also suggest reraising pre-flop (to roughly 360). This is because the pot is already large, and if you smooth-call, then a TPTK hand may not be good if you are up against multiple opponents post-flop. The raise buys you position, limits opponents seeing the flop, may win immediately, and will usually be a value raise if called. If someone comes over top of you, evaluate then, but it's a risk I'd be happy to take myself. Best Regards, Collin |

Preflop is ok.
Now check fold unless you pair up. |
