Where should I go? Atlantic City or Foxwoods?
I'm looking to take a poker vacation with a friend this summer. Where should I go if I'm a micro/small stakes NL cash player? I've played thousands upon thousands of hands online and a few home tournaments but I've never been to a casino before. I want weak opponents, reasonably priced accommodations, and a general good time.
If you chose one, why did you choose it?

it's a flipament so far but no one is adding comments so it's hard to see where people are coming from. i'll bet most people have been to one or the other and that's the info they use to pick one. anyone been to both?

AC is not cheap but it's a good time as far as the poker goes and there is a nightlife there.

my vote is for foxwoods, i can promise you that the players at foxwoods are among the worst ive ever seen....1-2NL is so ripe its incredible....if you cant make money in that game, poker is not for you....2-5 use to be pretty soft as well, but i havent sat in it since they increased the max buyin for 1-2 early last year....
accomodations im not sure, i know they can be pricey....

AC is cheap and you will have lots of choices for where to play. However the surrounding area is pretty ghetto and you probably won't want to walk around it. Foxwoods is like 3 AC casinos combined into one with all the amenities on hand and one HUGE poker room. I would say AC because I like the variety but if you are just going to grind out poker the whole time Foxwoods is probably slightly better. Also AC will be cheaper, not sure about comps at either places but poker comps usually aren't that hot.
