How do you extract the most out of a steamer here?
History- Roadhog is on tilt. He's been playing every single pot, either by limping in, re-raising small pairs, whatever. He's gone into maniac mode and I've got a pretty solid hand against him. What is your optimal strategy in this type of situation?
My table image is probably a little reckless, I've been raising a lot myself, and I've won very many pots without going to showdown. ***** Hand History for Game 5860507006 ***** $ 25 USD NL Texas Hold'em - Tuesday, April 10, 11:39:01 ET 2007 Table Table 127099 (Real Money) Seat 1 is the button Total number of players : 5 Seat 1: hurtchow ( $ 37.90 USD ) Seat 6: Roadhog6095 ( $ 31.75 USD ) Seat 5: Casparia ( $ 44.50 USD ) Seat 3: TolgaB ( $ 13.41 USD ) Seat 4: drekes008 ( $ 25.35 USD ) TolgaB posts small blind [$ 0.10 USD]. drekes008 posts big blind [$ 0.25 USD]. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to hurtchow [ Kc Ad ] Casparia folds Roadhog6095 raises [$ 1 USD] hurtchow calls [$ 1 USD] TolgaB folds drekes008 folds ** Dealing Flop ** [ Kh, 8c, Kd ] Roadhog6095 bets [$ 1 USD] hurtchow raises [$ 3 USD] Roadhog6095 calls [$ 2 USD] ** Dealing Turn ** [ Qc ] Roadhog6095 bets [$ 5 USD] hurtchow: ???????? |

Reraise preflop, but you already knew that.
Turn raise to 20-ish, and if he doesn't shove over your raise you can get it in on the river. |

Re: How do you extract the most out of a steamer here?
What two clubs would anyone play in a hand like this? Hero already has Kc so I fail to see how worrying about a runner-runner flush makes any sense.

Re: How do you extract the most out of a steamer here?
right, so i guess his range is like a,8, aq , a pair of 99's and basically worse.
so i guess club draw is pretty unlikely since he called a flop raise. still no point in giving a free card to like a pair of sixes or something. |
