Well, I've read a few "Success" threads, but I guess one more won't hurt.

I signed up for EPass on March 22nd(I think). They informed me the money would be available on April 4th. The money was available when I got home from work. Deposited to Pokerstars. Took some patience but it worked. Haven't requested the card yet. I also am with a credit union, and not a major bank. Not sure if that helps anyone. I doubt I will keep much money in it though. The lion's share of my money will probably stay in PS, and be cashed out through check. With Netteller getting frozen, I don't want to worry about that. Hope this helps.

I want some honest, opinionated responces on how safe people feel keeping money on epassporte is after seeing what happened with neteller. Is it only a matter of time?

Also, why is this not the next neteller, it seems a fairly small amount of people have gone to epassporte. Why is this?

Huge delays, horrible customer service, lots of fees. I knew Neteller, and you sir are no Neteller.

Well thats actually a good thing for me to hear.

Id rather have people not using it for those reason then because of a good chance of it having the same fate

How long is it taking to go from your epassporte account to your bank account?

Their page says 5 days. It's been 5 days for me already...

I just made a $600 deposit from epassorte into absolute poker. however my $500 withdrawal from AP to epassporte from wednesday hasn't shown up yet.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think AP is being slow. I did Stars and AP withdrawals last week and stars was next day and AP took 3-4 business days.

I applaud Epassporte for stepping up.

Sure I wish the set up was quicker - That would help new blood and other fish get money to our favorite poker sites. However I signed up understanding it would take some time to get a debit card etc..... and have had no problems.

I have cashed out from my rake-back site and full tilt to the VISA debit card. Both cashouts appeared the next day. I have used the debit card at restuarants, gas pumps and ATM's.

I hear crying about the fee's. Ugh..FYI. They are a business providing a valuable service to us. I am sure not going to sweat a few dollars here and there.

By the way, I haven't tried, but I doubt there is restrictions for using the VISA card to deposit into non epassporte poker sites and sports books.

In these times of uncertainty (Thanx to Mr. Frist) I will limit my exposure at ony one e-bank, poker site or sports book. That just seems prudent given the situation.

I will however always keep enough $$$ at those places to play comfortably the limits I want to play.
