Default Windows Vista

I am in the process of building myself a PC and I found myself able to get a free copy of Windows Vista Premium. If I had to buy an OS, I would stick to XPsp2.

If I go with Vista Premium, should I expect any problems with:

Poker Tracker/PAHUD
Poker Stars
Party Poker
Full Tilt
iTunes/iPod
Downloading pirated movies or TV via Torrent software

Anything else I should be worried about? I'm kind of poor, but if any of these are going to show real problems, I'll just pay the $135 for XP media centre...

Thoughts please

no real issues with other programs. however, the OS uses more resources than XP, so make sure u have lots of RAM. other than that...decent OS overall. just as long as u turn off that UAC crap

I turned off everything with it and talked forever with customer service for windows and they finally told me its just not compatible with pokerstars and so long story short i cant downgrade, u need to wait a new version and i cant play stars on it, super beat. If somehow u are a computer god who got around this let me know.
