Default Young Poker Players! Am I Right???

When I was young, I played bad hole cards.
This caused me to lie.
Being often broke was no joke.
Bad hole cards were the reason why.

I now play the finest hole cards.
I never whine or cry.
Everything's funny. Got a ton of money.
Good hole cards are the reason why.

Starting hand selection is only part of the problem. Making good plays after the flop is where the money really comes from. But for beginners, playing quality hands will make the post flop decisions much easier.

Who needs hole cards with a good blaster at your side, kid.

I'd imagine that a good blaster by your side leads to an infinite winrate. (until you find someone with a better one, then you run bad) Either way not much variance.

Whilst I agree with your logic I really must say,
I believe it comes down to better post flop play.

If you have skills after the flop even bad hole cards can win,
So does that make playing bad hole cards such a sin?

Personally my post flop play is not all that strong
So I rather play premium hands all day long!

I'd rather have a good read on my opponents than good hole cards...no matter what cards you have, if you can outplay them...you'll win!
