[/ QUOTE ] overpair vy rarely. i could easily see a hand like 66 or 77 here for villain. lots of tens as well. we've got 3 outs to the nuts*, 1 to the semi-nuts, and 6 outs to a hand that beats a wide range of his holdings. we're getting 7:1, so we need basically 5.5 outs to make this call profitably. clearly, we can find 2.5 outs out of 7. real question is river, but that comes down to reads. i'm definitely inclined to fold, unless i do have a read. holla |

The real question for me is are there enough players at these leves that will make a play like this with AhXh to make a call profitable against un unknown. Secondly, If I were villain, I would play AQs or KQs this way. Is that solid or terrible. LLL |

Re: Villain on a draw enough to call with UI overs?
on the turn you have 3.5 outs to 4's, 3 outs to overs = 6.5 outs = 6:1, given 7.2:1, so ok I can see a call there. River is tricky and is read-dependent... is he betting with a flush draw on a bluff or is he more likely to have a T or hands like 66-AA? No read and no intention of keeping any read on anyone, I fold.
