Default Make my Long Island Iced Tea taste better(at home)

My favorite place to drink one is at the Ale House & I can down 4 in 20 minutes because they taste amazing & be absolutely [censored] faced. I've been trying to get it to taste anywhere close at home & it just tastes awful. Here's what I am using:

1 part Ketel One Vodka
1 part Jose Cuervo Tequila
1 part Captain Morgan Rum
1 part Beefeater Gin
1 part triple sec
1 1/2 parts Rose's sweet and sour mix
1 splash of Coke

Way too much effort man.
TGI Fridays + Arizona Iced Tea = just like tea.... but I don't even like tea.

He is making his too strong, he needs to use less alcohol and more mix.

and a little more coke. I'm a big fan of 10cane rum instead of the captain, but that's only going to improve the taste so much. If you still don't like the taste, try cutting back to half as much tequila. if you still dont like it, try replacing that tequila with more triple sec.

The triple sec and sour is what's actualy going to make the drink taste any different. I'd try adding a little more of both.

Way too much alcohol (if you want that much, it's shot time!). Try something like 4 parts sour mix. You want a half a shot of each liquor and the triple sec.

Don't use spiced rum w/ tequila. Use one or the other (w/ other posted ingredients obv).. It wouldn't taste as bad (in my opinion) with bacardi gold/superior or the likes if you're going to use tequila (which is not in a traditional LIT anyway).
