$20 over 130 hands is very good.
Could you explain what was going through your mind when you called him on the river.

I would bet 1/2-2/3 the pot on the flop. As played, I don't think I can call the river without some kind of read on villain.

I hate the flop check, If he has a AQ/KQ, he will call anyway
Bet pot on the flop.

as played I would probably fold here, he either has you crushed or its a very audacious Bluff ......... any Q is gonna just call here

Winning 2 buyins within 1.5-2hrs is fun.

I try not to think about results that occur within a small number of hands as being good or bad because it is probably not statistically significant. But it does feel good.

Flop: I lead.
River: A read might help but without I probably fold. Who thinks that's too weak? I put UTG ahead with 7x/two diamonds or behind with AQ/KQ.

Thanks for replies!

Yeh after analysing the hand the check on the flop was awful, something i've learned about my game and will improve post flop play, my biggest mistake was not slowing down and thinking the hand through....all-in on the river at this level usually means the nuts most of the time.

Villian was a fairly solid player...my range for him after he called my 3.5 bet preflop is pocket pairs 99+. AA,KK and AK were unlikely, he would have reraised me with AA.

END RESULT he showed: AdKd (not betting flop cost me, lesson learned!)
