River brings a flush card. What do cool guys do?
Effective stacks are 400(400nl).All fold to hero on co.I raise to 16 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].OTB calls.
Flop is A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Pot is 38 and I bet 30.He calls. Turn is a 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet 65 to a 98 pot and he calls. River is a 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I hate these situations. What do you do if a)you have no reads? b)OTB is a lag? c)he is a tag? |

Re: River brings a flush card. What do cool guys do?
default is obv fold
timing tells help a lot. the information provided in this hand is too general to give a straight up answer, but default is fold. |

Re: River brings a flush card. What do cool guys do?
I am just thinking, how often does villain call with just a flushdraw on the turn? If you are bothered about my bet size think it is like 80.And how often does hero check on the river with a flush? Not very often IMO.So I would say it is not very probable villain has a flush. But cause we rarely check with it he might want to steel the pot.

Re: River brings a flush card. What do cool guys do?
Bet more on turn, as played fold to a decent sized river bet. You need more specific reads than 'LAG'or 'TAG' to give a clear answer. How agressive is villain? Does he often (check)raise draws on the flop? How agressive is villain with vulnerable made hands? etc etc.
