Default 25NL flopped straight now what?

I'm not sure whether I hate the way I played this. I've got an aggressive image. By raising I'm basically repping aces tho, and folding out his probable J-T or whatever. Is calling his flop bet better repping a whiffed A-K or something?

Not much you can do if they have nothing.

Nice hand. They just happened to have nothing. If BB's bet was a reasonably sized one I might consider calling, but it's so paltry that you have to raise it up.

What about a smaller raise? Would that ever entice a call? Some donks will call a smallish raise with anything for some reason (say kick it up to $3 and hope he improves to a better 2nd best on the turn).

The bet on the flop is not a real bet. Minraising it is nonsense. Just MHO.

calling flop here looks like a retard trying to hit with AK/AQ to me here, and i will lead the turn if i feel hero has those hands, this is a perfect flop for us and we are not afraid of much on the turn. IMO villian will donk turn and we can raise here for better value.
