Default NL50, KK reraised PF with A on flop (3 players)

Hi, I'm new here and wanted to share a few hands. (I just got the Theory of Poker today.)

Both of these hands were close together on two different tables of .25/.50. No reads on either table. Converted by hand.

9 players, 50NL

MP1 ($55.15)
MP2 ($95.28)
SB ($46.00)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2</font>, 2 folds, <font color="red">MP2 raises to $6.25</font>, SB calls $6, <font color="red">Hero raises to $13</font>, MP2 calls $8.75, SB calls $8.75

Flop: ($45.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP2 checks

Turn: ($45.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, <font color="red">MP2 bets $80.28 (All-in)</font>, SB folds, Hero ???

Full ring table, 6 players, 50NL

UTG+1 ($41.40)
SB ($72.85)
Hero ($50.60)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 folds, <font color="red">UTG+1 raises to $1</font>, SB calls $0.75, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.50</font>, UTG+1 calls $2, SB calls $2.

Flop: ($9) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
<font color="red">SB bets $0.50</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $5</font>, <font color="red">UTG+1 raises to $9.50</font>, SB folds, Hero calls $4.50.

Turn: ($28.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">UTG+1 bets $10.75</font>, Hero ???

The first hand I'd typically bet the flop to see where I am, but with the PF action and the SB in the hand I decided to check. I thought I'd get more info seeing how the MP2 bet and if the SB called/folded.

Hand 1 what is your stack? 4bet more preflop.

Hand 2 3bet more. Fold turn.

First hand I had $55.15.

So I should 4bet to $18-20 in order to get one (or both) to fold? And call if raised all in.

Second hand I agree I should have 3bet more. Is $5-7 good? But I think anything over $4 and most fold.

I typically raise PF to $2 with most hands because at micro limits players seem to fold unless the table is very loose.

Is the goal to reraise an amount to get only one caller or for them to call without the proper odds?

With KK you 4bet for value and not to get one to fold.

raise to 20 in the first hand, as played fold the turn.

in hand 2, raise to about 5 preflop, and proabably just call the donkminbet. As played fold to the minreraise on the flop. As played fold the turn.

I think if I raise to $20 they both fold, but I'll try it.

Also the fold on the turn in the second hand is easy but the first I think there's only 1 hand that beats me and if I fold there I might as well fold PF.

thats a better result than raising an amount they can profitably call with a worse hand.

I agree with all of this except for folding in hand 1. This looks lke more like a bluff. If Mp had an A why would he not bet the flop after 2 ppl checked? Also if he did have something strong why would he bet so much?

I am still torn on this one though so im not sure.

I quickly called the villain in the first hand because of his overbet and PF action. He had 1010.

I folded the turn in the second hand. I probably should have folded to the flop reraise.
