[ QUOTE ]
I just keep telling myself, "Decisions not results." Keep making good decisions and the results will take care of themselves in the long run. Then I kick the dog!

[/ QUOTE ]

When they call my pot-size bets all the way to the river, then they show me that the river card filled their gutshot, I just remind myself that these are the guys who donate 90% of my profit.

I want to berate them. A lot. But I always remember the old saying, "Never smarten-up a chump."

I love the stuffed donkey idea. Problem is all I have is a stuffed Eyor, and if I punched it it would make my daughter cry...

Actually the stuffed donkey thing may not be that good.

Experiments have shown that people who act out on their "tilt" by smashing objects or punching stuffed animals tilt for longer than those who don't.

It keeps the adrenalin going and you don't want that.

If i might demonstrate my approach. You have to turn an unlucky defeat into a victory as you positively reinforce bad play. Then EVERYTHING is +EV.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Hold'em Cash Game
$0.25/$0.50 Blinds
9 Players
LegoPoker HH Converter

<font color="black">Stack Sizes</font>

MP1: $20.65
MP2: $71.45
MP3: $49.75
CO: $49.85
BTN: $59.70

<font color="black">Preflop:</font> J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($0.75, 9 Players)
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.50, MP3 folds, CO calls $0.50, BTN folds, Hero raises to $3, BB folds, MP2 calls $2.50, CO folds

<font color="black">Flop:</font> T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($7.50, 2 Players)
Hero bets $5, MP2 calls $5

Hero bets $10, MP2 calls $10

Hero checks, MP2 bets $10, Hero calls $10

MP2 had 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a straight, Ten high) and won (+$26.15)
Hero had J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (two pair, Jacks and Tens) and lost (-$28)

You [censored] lucky [censored] sucker, you just hit the [censored] river so hard you arse wipe

Poker player says:
