Theory and Practice is okay, but too confusing for just trying to learn. It's also something you can't apply to the lowest stakes well. ABC poker is best to beat anything below 100NL so T&P won't help much. It's interesting, but not necessary. There's better stuff to spend your money on first.

i tend to agree.... i think someone getting T&P as first book will be turned off NL.... phil gordon's LGB is a perfect first NL book.

No Limit holdem theory and practice is a good book for looking at no limit holdem through a professionals mind. Its not your common NL book so dont get dissapointed. But read it like 3 times and let the concepts sing into your brain, play a few thousand hands from the concepts learned and you will be a btter player.

So wich book is good if u play 200$ and it goes good, but want some help for 1k tables? And is there and good book for NL heads up?
