In Limit Holdem, A decent winrate is 2-3BB/100 so even if you play good and run average your only gonna be slightly ahead on most days. Thats why its called a grind.

Berating donks is fkn stupid
They got it in with the worst of it and won. They feel great. Let them feel this way untill they get it in with the worst of it again and this time they will not suck out probably

Dont berate them, say nothing or nice hand.
The best is when other people are berating a donk and I like to start defending the donk and telling the table it was the right play. But seriously, its -EV to berate.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's pretty brilliant actually. By siding with the donk, look at what that does to all involved...

Donk: Is encouraged to keep playing horribly.
Berator: Is frustrated in that he not only gets no compassion for his bad beat, but now he has someone disagreeing that it was a bad beat at all - this will surely do nothing to subdue his tilt-factor, and will likely increase it.
Rest of Table: Thinks you are a donk yourself, for agreeing with the play.

Sounds +EV all the way around!

This is at least one thing I can say I don't do. Rarely ever chat unless something is said to me and I respond sarcastically.

I stick to yelling, throwing my laptop across floor, kicking the cat, etc.

nh sir

I like this line and employ it the most.. if a loose 60/25 is sat at the table spewing chips, I praise his plays, complement him when he wins his 4/1 shots against me.

"Oh, wp, that was a good call. You are doing well. etc. etc."

Never berate.. its a loss of basic discipline.

I have never understood running easy money off the table. I realize some people play worse when you make fun of them but others are just there to relax and have fun and when people criticize them they feel uncomfortable and leave. The WORST is when somebody thinks they are just a great player and telling villain "how could you call that you were a 4/1 dog there etc".... How stupid can people be, don't coach at the table. Every time I see easy money leave cuz some wannabe pro who can't handle his emotions flips out on somebody I want to jump out the window.
