you're the second person to suggest this - the idea is starting to grow on me a little. can anyone suggest where specifically in Canada is a good place with fun / interesting things to do. oh yea - and a card room nearby would be helpful...(must have NL).

well i went with friends to the WPT in Niagra.. got a pretty cheap and very nice hotel like 2 walking minutes near the casino. the food can be sorta pricey but its well worth it... by far the best place ive ever been to.

In general I prefer any international vacation to travel within the US. When I'm on an island in the Caribbean I feel like I'm ON VACATION, not just down the street.



Travelzoo catalogues vacation packages, and if you are flexible, you can find some sweet deals that will fit your budget on there.


You can probably squeeze into Jamaica for 3 nights all inclusive (all meals and booze) on your budget. The Riu Negril might be a good bet, as they've had lots of specials running in that range.

Other Good bets in your range will be Mexico and Dominican Republic.

The Dominican Republic has some extraordinary beaches and is probably the cheapest island to vacation on.

I've seen Colonial Punta Cana for $599 for 7 nights in the last few months.
This place looks nice , though I have not been there.

Also you can use coupon code: boomer on that site for $100 off your reservation. I've used that one with success recently.

i would also check out Funjet and Apple Vacations, if you can find one of their specials that fits your schedule, you can get a great deal.

Also there are casinos in The Dominican Rep.

Quebec City in Canada is very nice... Very European. Montreal is fun, but moreso if you're going w/ guy and want to get messed up and go to strip clubs.

dude i already told u - vancouver, canada. right above seattle. there are a bunch of casinos all over. main ones are River Rock in Richmond, right besides Vancouver, and Edgewater in downtown vancouver. In these casinos you will find whatever nl games you're looking for.. yes, as small as 1/2nl. vancouver is affordable and beautiful and fun and there's lots to do here so ship me the $100 and see you in a few months.
