This is just a heads up on how my Moneybookers experience is going so far.

Well my bank wire to Moneybookers reached them in 3 business days. Deposit to merchant from Moneybookers was instant. Testing merchant withdraw back to Moneybookers. Also testing Moneybookers withdraw back to bank account. Will probably cost me $15 U.S. to receive a bank wire (my bank's fee) from Moneybookers plus Moneybooker's $2.40 Euro fee. Yes, I'm getting price gouged. Will probably check out opening an account at another bank with better rates later on. Not requesting a U.S. dollar cheque (~$4 Euro fee) because I'm just testing stuff out right now and am not going to wait for a cheque. Seems like everything is more expensive now with Neteller gone.

I registered for click2pay a couple days ago. Did the phone verification though my first e-mail hadn't come in yet. Took a few bloody hours despite it was supposed to come in right away.

Then I clicked the link to verify my account, unfortunately I was not able to log in. I gave up trying, tried again the next day, still no go. Finally told it to re-send me my password incase I was typing it wrong. Then I get the notice my account has been locked.

Geeze. Thanks for telling me after all that.

And why may I ask?

Wrote an e=mail to their support, no response still.
Tried to call their support number..... THIS NUMBER IS TEMPORARILY NOT AVAILABLE.

Thanks click2pay, you're really doing good to get my service!

Well it sounds like Hollywood may be adding Moneybookers to its list. When I inquired I got this response:

"I am pleased to inform you that we are in the midst of testing Money Bookers on
Hollywood Poker. However, I am sorry that I am unable to give you a definite
time frame on when the payment method will be included. Please check your
deposit page regularly on that. Thank you for choosing Hollywood Poker and have
a nice day!"

Over the last few days I've been probing around a few sites to see what withdrawal methods they will allow once neteller is no longer an option IF I were to leave my neteller funds on their site after the April 9th deadline. It took some prying but I did get this email from EuroBet:

[ QUOTE ]
"If Neteller does not allow us to send the funds back to your Neteller account as
you have informed me that they are closing their service to Canadian customers
you would be able to request a withdrawal to your Moneybookers account.

The reason why I am recommending that you send some proof of ID is that our
Accounts team often request this when customers change payment methods, and if
you send a copy of an ID document such as a passport, driving licence or
national identity card you will not experience any delays should our Accounts
team need this to send your withdrawal."

[/ QUOTE ]

this was in response to me asking:

[ QUOTE ]
"So just to clarify If I deposit $1000 today using neteller then deposit $90
on April 10th with my Moneybookers account will I then be able to withdraw
$1090 back into my moneybookers account as long as you have proper
varification of my ID?"

[/ QUOTE ]

This would seems a good way to load up new moneybookers accounts, if you've pre funded it using poker savvy or some small credit card deposit. I also heard back from hollywood and they said they'd allow me to withdraw via cheque once I specifically UNregister my NT account with them. Betsson was another I probed and I got some mixed signals with them. One person seemed to indicate yes but 3 said no. Playboy poker has said they will allow me to cashout via cheque after the NT deadline has passed as well. Hope this helps ppl in the same boat as me.

Does anyone know if it is possible to open an account with moneybookers and fund it initially with money from a poker site?

Sounds like good news...have you actually used it? It still shows on their website as just being for Europe and Latin America, or something like that.

Thanks for this thread Bobo.

I think I will try C2P, as I play on sites supporting it. (AP, InterPoker, Everest, iPoker)

Always cool to get easy reloads when possible after all...

I asked specifically Pacific about Moneybookers for Canadians and received CS email with no mention of it.

Did you use MB for cashout from Pacific or only for deposit?

Still good news that available cashouts are free:

from CS email:

"You then have two options to cashout by: Bank Draft and Wire Transfer.

BANK DRAFT: <...> Since it takes
additional time for the banks to issue a bank draft after it was processed by us, and because it is sent by mail, we request that you allow 3-4 weeks for the delivery of your check to your postal address <...> There are no fees for this service.

WIRE TRANSFER: <...> is an electronic transfer of funds from Casino-on-Net's account to yours. It usually takes 5 to 7 business days for the funds to settle into your account after your Cash-Out request has been processed. There are no fees for this service."
