Default 10NL 6-max JTo OTB

Villain is 47/21/2 over ~100 hands. He's been playing very aggressive. Should I wait for a better hand to make a stand?

TP plus OESD vs over aggro player =
3/4 PSB on turn. 1/2 PSB any non heart river and call a push.

Highly likely he's drawing and you have a good hand.

I am not crazy about the flop raise..Our hand is not strong enough to raise but to strong fold..And we can not call a shove..On the turn we pick up an OESD and I like the check..Once again I do not like a bet because we can not call a shove and we maybe even drawing dead and 2 of our out are likely no good...River is fine...I maybe tempted to make a small value raise but I doubt he calls with a worse hand..

If all the chips go in on this hand we are beat..Villain is only aggro PF...

I don't really understand the issue. Definitely call. I don't really mind the turn check either because any reasonable bet on turn to charge the draw also prices us in. Sometimes you gotta practice pot control even if the board is draw heavy.

I didn't want to get pushed off my hand on the flop if the villain was semi-bluffing with a heart. I was hoping the raise would at least buy me a free card. I did call the river bet. It felt a little weak.

I just call the flop bet and bet a non-H turn. If he 2nd barrels a non-H turn I am probably calling as well.

Then why did you re-open the betting by making a raise???

I think if villain re-raises here, the chance that he's semi-bluffing goes way down, and we can find a fold.

Villain could easily shove with many hands that only include a lone [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]...Any pair w/A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Numeroius SD that include a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]..

Which is why I said if you can not call a shove why re-open the action...Villain likely range and our hand value will change greatly depending on what card come on the turn..
