Photography
Hello,
Looking into buying a camera for my business, the goal is to shoot professional quality photos of mostly models, but not necessarily headshots and direct people shots. Shots that take in slightly more of the surrounding atmosphere, the models will mostly be "doing something". I want to save money on the camera obviously, but get great photos. So far I have heard that the lense is more important than the camera, I am looking for some sort of a digital SLR type camera. Recommendations, information, anything is appreciated. Thanks, Plato |

Re: Photography
I would prefer to spend less than $1,000. If there was a really good arguement for spending more I might consider it.

Re: Photography
Right now I'm thinking about a Canon Digital Rebel XTi, because its in the VIP store at stars.

Re: Photography
I would say the Rebel probably isn't going to be enough to shoot professional digital photos. A digital is going to cost a lot more $ to match the quality of film. All the professional photographers I've talked to use much higher end Canon or Nikon digis & cost MUCH more than $1k. There are some good books on the subject.
