Default QQ Felt spewy

Villian is 17/11/2.3 after 200 hands. My image is tag. We have no real history. I usually repop preflop, but decided to play this one a little different.

Don't do this OOP. Looks like you took yourself to valuetown. JJ,TT is your only prayer here.

Don't show villian's call on end either. Skews responses.

If you're gonna call OOP, just lead the flop instead of c/r'ing. This gives you a little more pot control to work with.

As is, I agree with BG that you probably value-stacked yourself here.

Check turn an reevaluate?

I think the river bet is very spewy on this board as the range of hands you beat is much smaller then the range of hands that is beating you (and given villains play thus far I believe he has to have a made hand of some sort)

If I lead flop and he raises... push??? He really can't put me on TT+ as I would usually rr preflop. He would think something like fd wouldn't he?

check/fold river felt like the best line at the table, but it was hard to put into action.

What Claunchy said about the flop c/raise. I actually don't mind this line w/ KK,AA, but not QQ. As played I either check turn or bet less. Then I check river. He should check JJ on river if you bet turn.

bunga: If you lead and he raises I'd definitely consider shoving. Smaller PPs will defintely call there, but it is much less likely that a TT-type hand will call off his stack over 3 streets. Different dynamic.

if club didn't come in on turn the play would be fine IMO but it did and you just about commitied your stack on the turn getting over 3:1 if you check and he pushes. I would be more around 55 on the turn and see what he does. I think the only real spew is the river push.

Turn and river me no like. Your flop check-raise makes your hand look like a flush draw. When the third club hits on the turn I think you should check and try to get to a cheap showdown.

As played you've turned your hand into a bluff and unless Villain is a calling station his river holdings are AA-KK,a nut flush or full.
