I have no problems with this. $100 or $175 split 30ish ways is pretty insignificant.

Biscee Club update. Food is a little iffy. Being the day before Easter, the guy mught not be able to do it because of other committments. So lets keep it simple and do a pizza or chinese food takeout like we always do.

Also, Carlo said he could get us in downstairs at 3:00 instead of 4:00.

OK, we may have a solution.

Another card friends family owns a bar we play at weekly. I asked him if he can host Saturday and he said sure, he just has to clear it thru pops, which he is doing right now.

Private upstairs area above bar.
Good food.
More room than we need.
2 miles from original place.
Any and all women welcome.
Hot bartender on Saturdays.
Gratis.

I'll be back with an answer shortly.

I have played at this club, and I can attest that it will be good. I like the idea of starting upstairs, then moving downstairs at 4. When I was there, the downstairs handled 40 very easily. Also, Toro, am I correct in assuming that Carlo will provide cards and chips? If so we wouldnt have to bring anything. He definitely has enough tables and chairs.

My three cents

He has chips, but as you know they're not great, so if it's a hassle to bring chips, we can use his. And of course he has cards.

I'm ambivalent about the location. Biscee club would be great as I wouldn't have to drive far but if we go there, I have more responsiblity and work and being a lazy bastard, that's a minus.

Either way, I think we need to decide asap or postpone.

Couple things we need to do.

27o - can you PM those on the list to let them know that the original venue is out?

All things being equal, I would prefer the Worcester location to save some travel time, but the rest of you will have a longer drive to get here. Toro's club sounds more private than the N. Attleboro alternative, and so is less likely to attract unwanted attention from civilians and others. Just think of the drunks at the bar asking about what's going on upstairs and you'll see where I'm coming from here.

Some, like Jekyl, casper, Siren, and others have a long way to go to get to this game, so we should finalize things ASAP and get word to them. Shall we polltard this?

I know Heidi is reading the board but I'll send her a message just to be sure.

I'll send out the PM.

I'm still waiting on response, but upstairs is completely closed of to downstairs and they play up their all the time without crowd issues. That being said, either location is fine with me. I'll always choose the free one though, regardless of location.
