Good gifts for groomsmen?

I got my groomsmen custom tailored dress shirts as part of the suits for the wedding, but definitely wearable with any suit. I also got them matching wristwatches.

The groomsmen got jerseys in one of the weddings I was in. Most everyone got Eagles jerseys. I got a Jordan rookie jersey. If I got an Eagles jersey, I probably would have worn it. Instead, I framed the Jordan jersey. Loved the gift. He gave them out at the rehearsal dinner and it looked like we all got drafted. Good times.

Last year we all got tickets to an Eagles game. Tailgating beforehand, smoking cigars, drinking... great times.

Second the jersey idea, esp. if you get each guy one of his favorite team w/ his name on it. I really like the Louisville Slugger idea, though, and may use that for my wedding (whenever the hell that is).

Different gifts are def ok.

I was in a wedding where one of the groomsmen got a wooden chess board w/ glass pieces where the pieces were all shot glasses. When you take a piece, the loser has to take his shot. We all thought it was the best gift of the bunch. We all also drink alot.

FWIW I got a nice pocketknife that I've never used, but I don't hold it against the groom.

Another one I was in the groom got us all "cooking with beer" and "advanced grilling" cookbooks. I thought that was pretty funny.
