Ok, I think this is a good example of WA/WB done correctly. Correct me if I'm wrong...
Villain is unknown. After the second nine and the donk on the turn, I figure he either has a Q and I'm way ahead, or a 9 and I'm way behind. So if he has a Q, let him bet for me, but if he's got a 9 I can save some money. Ultimate Bet Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $0.25./$0.5 7 players Converter Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG calls, Hero raises, 2 folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls. Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (8.4SB, 4 players) BB bets, UTG calls, Hero raises, Button folds, BB calls, UTG folds. Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6.7BB, 2 players) BB bets, Hero calls. River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (8.7BB, 2 players) BB bets, Hero calls. Results: Final pot: 10.7BB |

You're misapplying this concept. I raise the turn.

Posting blind (totally blind, based exclusively on your subject): probably not WA/WB.
After reading: nope, not even close. Too many outs for your opponent, not enough for you, not close to 50/50 ahead/behind, yada yada. Raise the turn, call down if 3bet. |

Just because he donked the turn does not mean he has a nine here. He could just be saying "Show me if you can beat top pair". That is the most likely answer out of all of them.

I just agree that it's not 50/50 so we should raise somewhere. His range is overwhelmingly Qx. |

This is a Q, uh, always, and by just calling on the turn you're making two mistakes: 1. you're giving him a chance to draw cheaply to his 5 outs; and 2. if a scary card that doesn't help him falls on the river, he might not bet again. |

Wasn't really considering the paired board. That said, AQ is a portion of his range, just not a big enough one to give him a lot more outs. |

I'm guessing that all you turn raisers fold to a 3-bet?
