$50NL - KK, suspicious call from villain
SB is complete donkey, he's the reason I raised 5BB PF (should been more, he calls any 2 PF). No read on BB. The flat call from BB is very strange; is that 34s/45s enough to fold here?
Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 5 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $87.75 CO: $48.45 Button: $37.85 SB: $36.10 BB: $69.80 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero raises to $2.5, 2 folds, SB calls, BB calls. Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($7.5, 3 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $7, SB raises to $14, BB calls, Hero ? |

Re: $50NL - KK, suspicious call from villain
From what I've seen at microstakes on Full Tilt, a min c/r is a big hand (over pair, trips, full house), many of which have you crushed. However, this alone does not make a fold too easy (for me at least). But when you throw in BB's cold call I can find a fold here pretty easily.

Re: $50NL - KK, suspicious call from villain
I don't think BB has a 4 here and I don't think he checks an overpair...meaning he has exactly 77
Obviously we need to put him on more than that (but I don't know what - I guess some 45s's since you are relatively deep). I think there's enough heat to fold. |

Re: $50NL - KK, suspicious call from villain
This seems like terribly weak fold, people do this with a lot of draws. I think calling and evaluating the turn is the best bet. I really think the only hand that is beating you here is a sneaky AA, but his range could be any draw and 88+

If SB is really doing this with any two, I'm shoving.

folding to this is very weak. i'm not saying there's no reason for concern, but the range is huge and it looks like you're seeing monsters under the bed.

Re: $50NL - KK, suspicious call from villain
With no reads on the BB I don't think you can fold this hand. Ya it looks no good for you when someone checks, and it goes raises and reraise and someone just flat calls that but there is some crazy stuff that goes on at these stakes. You are also getting 6-to-1 on your money so there is no way you can fold here in this spot. I think a call though is your best line. You can re-evaluate the turn. If it goes check check to you on the turn I would probably shove my stack barring a really crappy card didnt come.

Re: $50NL - KK, suspicious call from villain
BB is unknown so he could easily have a FD or 7 or small-mid pp here. I'd just shove bc too many cards on the turn either a) complete their draws or b) are scare cards. And even if you take it down now, its a healthy pot.
